Apply for the Digital Rights – end of – Summer School!
The applications for the 2026 Digital Rights Summer School in Montenegro are now open!
The School takes place from 20 to 26 September and the program is designed for enthusiasts based in the Western Balkans and Southeast Europe (SEE), who are passionate about digital rights and eager to learn more about the latest developments in this field.
During the school, we’ll explore the growing impact of artificial intelligence on human rights and society through lectures and talks by regional and international digital rights experts. The participants will take part in workshops and discussions on AI-enabled surveillance and policing, the socioeconomic consequences of automation and algorithmic decision-making, the environmental costs of AI infrastructure, online harassment and disinformation amplified by AI tools, as well as strategies for advocacy and regulation. Throughout the program, we’ll examine how these developments affect our region and what meaningful responses look like in practice. As a participant, you will also have the opportunity to connect, share experiences and collaborate on digital rights initiatives across the region.
This program is organised by SHARE Foundation and it offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts and network with other professionals in the field. Join us for an engaging program in a beautiful setting. Accepted applicants will be provided with travel, accommodation and full board during their stay. The working language is English.
